It's no secret that medications in Turkey are of very high quality and much cheaper than in Europe and Russia. Counterfeit medications are subject to severe penalties. Many tourists visiting Turkish resorts remember to stock up on essential medications, as counterfeit drugs are rare in Turkey, due to the strict penalties for their manufacture and distribution (50 years in prison). Below are popular medications and generic equivalents available in Turkish pharmacies.
You won't buy counterfeit medications or generic equivalents in Turkey, as penalties for counterfeiting medications are very high. However, pay close attention to expiration dates!

Duphalac is contraindicated in cases of galactosemia, intestinal obstruction, and hypersensitivity to the drug's components.

Pharmacies in Turkey are everywhere. They are especially common near clinics and hospitals. It's easy to find a pharmacy in Turkey by the large "ECZANE" signs. They operate the same way as grocery stores. Large cities always have a pharmacy on duty. In Antalya, there are about four. They are usually located close to major medical centers. Each medical facility will provide you with a list of the nearest pharmacies.
